Defender Neil Micallef joins Valletta FC

Neil Micallef

24-year-old defender Neil Micallef is a new player of Valletta Football Club. Neil formed part of Gudja United squad since the beginning of the 2020/21 season.

This news comes despite the fact that in May 2022, Micallef signed a two-year extension on his contract with Gudja United. Micallef had joined the Premier League club from Mqabba FC.

A product of Pembroke Athleta F.C., Micallef also played for Marsa F.C. over several seasons between 2019 and January 2019.
