Enzo Ruiz joins Valletta FC

Argentinian Central Defender Enzo Ruiz officially joins the LilyWhites!
Last season, the veteran defender was on the books of Birkirkara FC but his contract expired at the end of the campaign and was not offered a new deal by the Stripes.
The 32-year-old was determined to continue his career in Malta and Enzo has agreed personal terms with Valletta FC.
For Valletta, the capture of Ruiz is another major acquisition in the summer transfer window after the capital club have already signed Thane Micallef.
In Ruiz, Valletta will be bringing in a quality defender that has enjoyed a lot of success in Maltese football since his arrival here in 2016.
Ruiz first stint in Malta was with Floriana with whom he won the league title in 2020.
Throughout his career, Ruiz has played with some prestigious clubs in his homeland, most notably Boca Juniors in season 2012-13.
Last season, Ruiz made 14 appearances with Birkirkara.
